Cursed Monk Records are delighted to announce the return of Nomadic Rituals to Monk Fest!
Nomadic Rituals is a powerhouse trio hailing from Belfast, Northern Ireland, known for their crushing blend of heavy Sludge and Doom Metal.
Formed in 2012, the band consists of Craig Carson (Bass and Vocals), Peter Hunter (Baritone Guitar, Vocals and Synth), and Mark Smyth (Drum and Percussion). Since that time they have honed their talents for creating uniquely thunderous and immersive sounds that incorporate elements from the extreme breadth of Sludge and Doom Metal, along with layers of spaced out Psychedelia, and nods to Progressive Rock. The music delves into deep, expansive and resonant themes; each track offers a journey spoken through distorted guitars, booming rhythms, and guttural vocal accompaniments.
Over the years, Nomadic Rituals has garnered a dedicated following with their relentless energy and uncompromising vision. Their discography boasts four albums and a split single, each pushing the boundaries of their genre and solidifying their place along the branches of metal music.
Last year we released Nomadic Rituals fourth album, Fust. This latest offering is their most intense and evocative work yet! It captures the essence of their evolution and the raw power that defines their music.
With a reputation for exhilarating live performances (If you were at Monk Fest 2023 you are no stranger to this) and a commitment to sonic exploration, Nomadic Rituals continues to carve out their own legacy in the world of heavy alternative music and we could not be more excited to welcome them back to Monk Fest.
Nomadic Rituals will take the stage on Saturday July 4th in Pharmacia, Limerick.
Monk Fest is in aid of Temple St. Children’s Hospital.
